2010 North Carolina Green Party Spring Gathering

The North Carolina Green Party would like to invite all members to participate in biannual Gathering, to be held on May 14th-15th. Make sure to RSVP (below)!

Location:
Greensboro Cultural Center at 200 North Davie Street, Greensboro.

*Please note that this is a change from the previous location at the McGirt-Horton branch of the Greensboro Public Library.


Friday Evening (May 14th):
Friday night, May 14th, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, George Friday will speak in the Board Room of the Greensboro Cultural Center
on the topic of the Move to Amend movement to alter the US Constitution to deny corporations the rights that have been bestowed upon them through the legal fiction of "corporate personhood".  Ms Friday is a well-known independent political activist and is currently co-chair of the North Carolina Green Party

Saturday (May 15th)
:
Saturday will be our business day.
A Green social hour will take place during lunch where new and interested members can ask questions of Green officers and older members.

Lunch begins at 12:30 PM. The Green Party asks that members be able to defray their lunch costs.

Amtrak service is available from the Raleigh area and probably from Charlotte. We will be arranging for people to ferried to the meeting and returned for departing trains.
